What Are The Ingredients?

Before creating our laundry detergent sheets, we carefully evaluated all laundry detergent ingredients and eliminated a handful that we felt weren't safe and we kept the ones that were deemed safe and effective, while not compromising on the cleaning power.

Our Vegan friendly ingredients include: polyvinyl alcohol (an emulsifier), sodium lauryl sulfate (a foaming agent), cocoamidopropyl betaine (partially derived from coconut oil), Isomeric alcohol ethoxylates (emulsifier and cleaning agent), primary alcohol ethoxylate (helps remove oily soils from fabrics), sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), starch (plant derived), Serine (improves detergent effectiveness); β-hydroxyalanine (cleaning agent), Leucine (amino acid & stabilizer).

Is it Grey Water Friendly?

It is our understanding that our laundry detergent sheets are grey water friendly given it is 100% biodegradable, no bleach, no harsh chemicals, contains plant based derived ingredients and natural cleaning components.

How Long Can This Product Be Used?

Our laundry detergent sheets have roughly a 3 year shelf life. In other words in approx. 3 years we suggest using new ones to ensure the most effective clean. Each package contains 30 full sheets. The sheets are perforated in half, so 30 full sheets equal 60 half sheet loads. Each load can only be used once (it dissolves into soap and rinses away in the washing machine).

Can I Use This On My Baby?

The product's gentle non toxic formula is hypoallergenic and is free from harsh chemicals. Yes, it can be used on your baby as long as you follow the directions listed on the package (1. add the clothes to the washing machine, 2. add MAMA EARTH's laundry detergent sheets and 3. start your washing machine as usual). Bottom line: You can use these laundry detergent sheets every time you wash your baby's clothes (which from my experience with two boy's is a lot!)
